Configure which drives/folders/files not to track

It is not necessary to track what happens to every single file or folder on a system, only to the important ones In my case, I have millions and millions of files (terabytes of data) and I'm not interested in what happens to many of them. Therefore it's essential to be able to provide some sort of filtering configuration option -- explicitly selecting which folders to track and/or specifying wildcards for which files to track (such as *.doc) in order for the log files to be smaller and manageable.
